James Patterson’s latest best seller, “The Angel Experiment,” oddly, is 4 years old. The price is different this time round to, its free. Its being sold online as an ebook.
The strategy is simple: by selling one of your books for free, you will promote the sale of your others!
Amazon are really onto something, first emerging in the press in 1994 they have had non-stop success and now with their new ebook, the Kindle, there’s no stopping them.
You can download ebooks of amazon for only $10 rather than the $25 hardback costs - but there are plenty of freebies out there too.

It’s 1/3 of an inch slim.
weighs just over a quarter of a kilo.
And with wireless 3G you can be reading a new book in less than 30 seconds without leaving your armchair.
Its an electric book by Amazon ($299 or £180) and can store 1500 books. Its clever really, you don’t need book shelves, which means you don’t need to search for some attractive bookends. I almost forgot, say goodbye to licking fingers.
They say that one day, we will even be able to order our food shopping without leaving the room and someone will come and deliver it to you (they may even take it to your fridge if you ask nicely.)
Its biggest competitor, the Sony Reader is also out now (£200).
Both use eINK screens, a new technology used by ebooks. eINK is electronic paper allowing readers to view the page in sunlight (something normal screens find impossible.).
The Amazon Kindle is only available through amazon.com (US) at the moment.
Enjoy!

What better way to relax on holiday than with a book. Imagine yourself there, on a sun lounger, by a pool, reading a book. Nice isn’t it?
Butlins-a-like-Haven are giving away free books at 6 of their parks during august. When you arrive you will be given a bag bursting full of books. To be more precise… £50 worth! Now, that could just be two giant atlas books. But its more likely to be lots of cheaper books.
Haven has teamed up with “Reading For Life” to support “Great Family Escapes” for this campaign to get families reading again.
What is you opinion on this?
Sure the family at Haven might read one or two books from their gigantic new random collection, but what about when they get home? Will the Johnson Family go back to their old ways. A holiday is a holiday after all!
READING FOR LIFE…
