Continuing on our previous theme of great sites for people over fifty. We just came across this great social networking site. Over Fifties Friends Social Networking Site is the ideal place to search for other likeminded people of your age. In addition to being able to find friends that share your interests, you can organise activities and start clubs, or join those organised by others. Find a date, browse profiles, or just chat, post in the 50+ forum or the blog with other seniors. A very friendly, informative site, we liked the ease of the navigation around the various pages and found the sign up ridiculolusly simple. Best of all its free!!!

If you have multiple unsecured debts like, credit card debts, personal loan, store cards and want to find a way to pay off your debts, you can take help of debt management plan (DMP).

What DMP means

This plan is for those people who are not eligible to get a debt consolidation loan. Debt management plan is offered by credit counseling agencies to help you to repay all your debts, over a period of time. The agency representative will help you to make a financial plan for you in such a way that you will have to make a single payment to the agency, and the agency will distribute the money among your creditors. This will be done on the basis of a voluntary negotiation between you and your creditors.

Benefits of DMP

The benefits of a debt management plan are:

1. Keeps you stress free: As you don’t have to deal with your creditors any more you can remain stress free.

2. Flexible option: It offers you flexible payment option and you can also change your payment option if your circumstances change.

3. Single bill: You have to make a single payment every month, so, it becomes more convenient to you than paying multiple creditors.

4. Reduced interest: Your credit counselor may negotiate with your creditors to reduce your interest rate, so you will have to make a lower monthly payment.

5. No harassing call: Once you enroll in this plan, all harassing calls from your creditors will come to an end.

Prior to opting for a debt management plan you should make sure that the credit counseling agency you have chosen is a registered and authentic one. You can get a list of registered agencies from the Better Business Bureau to see whether or not there has been any complaint against that agency. Once you start making payments to the company, you need to check your credit card statement every month to ensure that your creditors are receiving their payments on time.

Standing at the fore front of nursing, does not really mean that you are in the line of vision when used as expendable soldiers in a fire war, but it does have its best and the worst. But when you pass the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program, you are definitely in the line of vision. However the best part to it is that as soon as you have completed your CNA Program and got some valuable job experience, it exposes you to a new world of skill betterment opportunities to any one willing to improve one’s circumstances with the help of denturing programs with educational and developmental possibilities which are attached with the CNA Program.

The Care-Taker

A CNA is unexpectedly not the most praised job in nursing field but undoubtly the most vital one. The daily tasks of a CNA are the stepping stones of flawless operations. The glory of being in the line of vision is to set the basics of good well being of the patient in need.

Helpless sick people are generally very grateful to the smallest favors. Just helped to sit comfortably or a bed bath helps more than any medicine of the world. Concern and skill is what makes the CNA the best and apart from others. By this only, the job of a cna test questions becomes most important as it helps the patients recover faster without any stress in a relaxing way.

Future Focus

Most of the RN’s entered this career as a CNA. Beginning from the bottom rung of a ladder always stands for a longer run. This is why all the big businessmen start their sons in the mailroom where they started their race of the world.

CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Programs

After the CNA Programs, the trainees are ready to work with live patients on to the ward where they can even teach some things to the RN’s about working with people. And that all in a very short span of time. What one requires is a GED or High School Diploma and CNA 6-12 weeks Training which will be surprisingly on-job. All the details are available on-line in hospitals and community colleges.

The strategy is simple: by selling one of your books for free, you will promote the sale of your others!

Amazon are really onto something, first emerging in the press in 1994 they have had non-stop success and now with their new ebook, the Kindle, there’s no stopping them.

You can download ebooks of amazon for only $10 rather than the $25 hardback costs - but there are plenty of freebies out there too.

It’s 1/3 of an inch slim.

weighs just over a quarter of a kilo.

And with wireless 3G you can be reading a new book in less than 30 seconds without leaving your armchair.

Its an electric book by Amazon ($299 or £180) and can store 1500 books. Its clever really, you don’t need book shelves, which means you don’t need to search for some attractive bookends. I almost forgot, say goodbye to licking fingers.

They say that one day, we will even be able to order our food shopping without leaving the room and someone will come and deliver it to you (they may even take it to your fridge if you ask nicely.)

Its biggest competitor, the Sony Reader is also out now (£200).

Both use eINK screens, a new technology used by ebooks. eINK is electronic paper allowing readers to view the page in sunlight (something normal screens find impossible.).

The Amazon Kindle is only available through amazon.com (US) at the moment.

Enjoy!

What better way to relax on holiday than with a book. Imagine yourself there, on a sun lounger, by a pool, reading a book. Nice isn’t it?

Butlins-a-like-Haven are giving away free books at 6 of their parks during august. When you arrive you will be given a bag bursting full of books. To be more precise… £50 worth! Now, that could just be two giant atlas books. But its more likely to be lots of cheaper books.

Haven has teamed up with “Reading For Life” to support “Great Family Escapes” for this campaign to get families reading again.

What is you opinion on this?

Sure the family at Haven might read one or two books from their gigantic new random collection, but what about when they get home? Will the Johnson Family go back to their old ways. A holiday is a holiday after all!
